Big Sister Gina Baxter and Little Brother Logan were matched in September 2015 as one of the first matches in our GrandBigs program. The GrandBigs program, now in its third year, was formed in partnership with Virginia Mennonite Retirement Community. The program provides opportunities for intergenerational friendships between children and adult mentors. Gina and Logan hit it off from the very start! Their unique personalities meshed perfectly. Three years later, they are one of the strongest matches in the program. Logan’s mother shared that Logan has shown improvements in school and always enjoys his one-on-one time with Gina.
