IT TAKES LITTLE TO BE BIG

You have the opportunity to impact the life of a youth and help to ignite their power and potential.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Harrisonburg-Rockingham County (also serving Shenandoah County) provides local youth with strong, enduring, professionally supported one-to-one mentoring relationships. You make a difference as a mentor to a local youth (ages 5-14). Seriously, you don’t need special skills, talents, or prior mentoring experience. It just takes a little time, a little encouragement, and a laugh or two, so every youth has what – and who – they need to achieve a bigger and brighter future. Mentorship sounds huge, but guess what? IT TAKES LITTLE TO BE BIG! Volunteer requirements are to be 18 years or older and willing to complete screening (interview, background checks, etc.).  Click on "VOLUNTEER NOW" to learn more and get started making a difference.
