BIGGER TOGETHER, A Community Celebration of Mentoring, is an event to celebrate the impact of formal and informal mentors across our local community and raise awareness about the need for additional one-to-one mentors for local youth facing challenges.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Harrisonburg-Rockingham County will host this year’s event on Tuesday, October 22nd from 12-1 pm in the Festival Student & Conference Center ballroom on the James Madison University campus in Harrisonburg, VA. We look forward to celebrating the impact of mentoring with you!

Nomination Submission Details

Big Brothers Big Sisters is now accepting nominations for the awards below to be given during the event. Please consider nominating an individual or mentoring program for one or more of the five different award categories. Recipients, their nominator, and up to 6 guests will be invited to the event. Nominators, whether their nomination is chosen or not, will receive 2 free tickets for entrance to the event and be entered to win a $50 gift card to Starbucks, one of our national partners.

All nominations must be completed and submitted by 5 pm on Sunday, September 1st.
